The San Diego Veterans For Peace is pleased to announce the endorsement of our “No MAS” (No Miramar Air Show) campaign by two of San Diego’s major climate action groups, San Diego 350 and the Sunrise Movement San Diego. San Diego Veterans For Peace’s mission is to expose the true, total costs of war, and a major objective of our No MAS campaign is to educate the public about the climate costs attributed to the US Military, as exemplified in the highly visible example of the Miramar Air Show. The Pentagon is the world’s largest emitter of greenhouse gases and it must be held responsible for its contribution to climate damage. Joining forces with San Diego 350 and Sunrise Movement San Diego amplifies the warning about these twin existential threats to our planet.
